Nobody Assigned This
Just Live Abeg
At what point did we decide that life needed a whole pursuit attached to it?
Love. Fame. Money. Wealth. Knowledge. Aesthetics.
These things matter, genuinely. Nobody is saying throw it all away.
But we're out here so deep in the chase that the actual living is happening in the background. Unattended. Like a side character in our own story.
And for what?
Life can be enjoyed without the drama. Without borrowing someone else's definition of what it's supposed to look like. Without making every season mean something, every feeling a lesson, every breath a brand.
Enough of the romanticising. Genuinely.
The pursuits are valid. Getting lost in them is the problem.
You don't need it added to your worth. You just need to breathe. That's it. That's the whole assignment, and nobody assigned it.
Just live, damn.
