Stress, I know, sounds like an odd thing to be grateful for, but hear me out. Life is filled with all kinds of challenges, and stress is often a part of the journey. It’s easy to see stress as a burden—something that drags us down, takes away our peace, and makes us feel overwhelmed. But when I pause and really think about it, stress has shaped me in ways I wouldn’t have imagined.
Stress has been my teacher, pushing me beyond my limits, making me dig deeper into my faith, my resilience, and my ability to handle the weight of life. It’s in the midst of stress that I’ve learned how strong I really am. Every deadline that seemed impossible to meet, every situation that stretched me thin, they all taught me something valuable about perseverance.
In moments of stress, I've realized that I don’t have to face things alone. God has been there, guiding me, showing me that every struggle is an opportunity to grow, to trust, and to rely on His strength. Stress, when channeled correctly, becomes a stepping stone to greater things.
Today, I choose to be grateful for the lessons that stress has brought me. It may not always feel comfortable, but it’s a part of life that helps shape me into the person I’m meant to be.
